What is this Blog all about?
Hello and welcome to my Blog. I am a local Realtor and Broker in the area. I'm an avid real estate investor and have worked the King & Snohomish County real estate market for 9 years.
This blog is for people that are considering buying or selling real estate or an investment property. I want to start by telling you what this blog is all about and what to expect from it.
My goal for this blog is to inform the public with real statistics of what the real estate market is currently doing in both Snohomish & King Counties. The news you read in the local newspaper about the market is usually slanted in order to sell newspapers. I'm not saying that the information they put out isn't completely true, however it is usually exagerated. I'll be posting statistics for both Snohomish & King Counties. The stats will tell you whether it's a seller's, buyer's or balanced market. They'll tell you what price range is selling the best for the current month. They'll tell you what the Absorption Rate is for the current month (how many months supply there is). I'll also be posting stats on what the Median Home Prices are in both counties. I'll post other stats as well from time to time. Most posts will be done within the first week of each month. I will also post any new and exciting data I find on a weekly basis.
My hope in creating this blog and giving this information to the public is that it will help you make an informed decision when considering buying or selling your home. This information can help you get top dollar when selling your home and get the best deals when purchasing your home. It all depends on home you decipher the data. I made a decision when I began my Real Estate career that I was going to approach this business in a different way than most agents do. I made it my life collecting these statistics so that I could give my clients the upperhand when making very important real estate decisions. The decision to buy or sell a home is the most expensive decision you'll ever make and shouldn't be left up to some real estate agent's hunch, but instead based on real figures.
